Getting Started
REQUEST AN INITIAL CONSULTATION
To find out if we are a good fit for therapy, simply click the button below and provide your contact information as well as a brief description of what you would like to work on together in therapy. We will contact you about scheduling a free, 15-minute consultation. During the consultation, we will answer any questions you have and will provide you information about our approach to therapy, the cost of treatment, and related topics. We may ask you questions about issues you would like to work on and your availability for scheduling an intake and future sessions.
INTAKE AND FIRST APPOINTMENT
If we decide to move forward with therapy, we will email you intake paperwork to complete through our secure online portal prior to our first meeting. Please review and complete the documents as best you can. Paperwork must be completed prior to the intake appointment.
The first appointment will be an intake session where we can get to know each other. You will be asked questions about your experience, and you will have the chance to ask questions and to share any concerns you have about therapy.
SCHEDULING AND MISSED SESSIONS
After the first intake appointment, we will schedule future sessions. Once your appointment time is set, it is reserved for you. Sessions are usually weekly at the same time and day of the week, though you may have the option to schedule sessions twice a week or every other week, depending on your needs and treatment goals. As you make the progress you are looking for, we may move to less frequent sessions.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, no worries. We simply ask that you provide a 24-hour notice to enable us to provide care and access to services for current and waitlisted clients. A $100 fee is charged for missed sessions or those not cancelled within 24 hours of appointment.
